On this day of Thanksgiving I'm thankful the Most to My Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ; Yeshua the Messiah. I'm thankful for my Wife, My Son, My Parents and Siblings on this day!
But I'd like to take this time to thank my Hero in the Faith The Ambassador William Branch @ambassador215 along with his legendary group The Cross Movement!
I remember as a kid seeing them on BET on Saturday Morning on "Lift Every Voice" with Bro Gerard. These guys were the First Young Black men that looked like me ethnically and culturally that were serious about their faith and skilled in their craft. Because of this brother, his group and artists on their label like FLAME, Da T.R.U.T.H. & Lecrae I was introduced to Sound Theology, Apologetics, Church History and Hermeneutics amongst other things that I still hold dear to even now. I am who I am in large part because of the music and ministry of The Ambassador.
I've had the pleasure of meeting him, doing shows alongside him and building a friendship. Just a few months ago I got to connect with him at a Conference in North Carolina that he invited me to.
I also had the pleasure of directing music and playing drums for the Cross Movement Reunion at The 2016 Legacy Conference. Shout out to Brian Dye for helping to put that together. I am grateful to call The Ambassador a personal friend, mentor and I appreciate his Legacy that continues along with the Legacy of The Cross Movement! I wish anyone reading this post a blessed, happy and healthy Thanksgiving Day.
